The NACC Red Book Training is a 1-day advanced survey course on Child Welfare Law and Practice (aka The Red Book). The course follows the NACC publication Child Welfare Law and Practice: Representing Children, Parents, and State Agencies in Abuse, Neglect, and Dependency Cases (Duquette and Haralambie, Bradford Publishing 2010) (the Red Book). It covers the major competency areas of dependency practice and prepares child welfare attorneys for day to day practice.  The course also serves as a preparation course for the NACC Certification exam.
The Red Book will be provided to all non child welfare law certification applicants.  Applicants will have received their own copy from NACC as part of the certification process and are asked to bring it to the training.

Registration will open at 8:00am and the training will begin at 9:00am.  Please note that lunch will not be provided.
