The NACC, along with eight law professors from law schools in the 5th Circuit, filed an amicus curiae brief to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in support of a Texas District Court's decision to grant class certification to "All children who are now and all those who will be in the Permanent Managing Conservatorship of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.” The NACC is grateful to James Ahlers, from Perkins Cole, LLP and Douglas Gray, from Morris, Downing & Sherred, LLP for drafting the brief on our behalf.
