NACC joins eight amici, the Center for Children’s Advocacy (Conn), the Children and Family Justice Center (Chicago), Children’s Law Center (DC), Civitas ChildLaw Center (Chicago), Connecticut Office of the Chief Public Defender, The Legal Aid Society (NY), Legal Services for Children (San Fran), and the Washington University Law School Civil Justice Clinic, in an amicus curiae brief to the Connecticut Supreme Court arguing that applying the INTERSTATE COMPACT ON THE PLACEMENT OF CHILDREN to parents violates constitutional principles.
