Why Join the NACC?
If you work with children as an attorney, judge, administrator, care provider, physician, therapist, social worker, teacher, or law enforcement officer, and you want to improve your effectiveness while improving the system, the National Association of Counsel for Children (NACC) is your organization.
Founded in 1977 during the developmental years of our child abuse and neglect court systems, the NACC pushed for quality legal representation of children at a time when children rarely received legal representation. Over four decades later, we remain dedicated to our original goals, and have expanded to include high-quality legal training and technical assistance for all attorneys and court personnel in dependency, delinquency, and family law cases. We’re also active in promoting national and local policy and legislation that serves children and families.
