Creating/Maintaining Your Membership Profile
Getting Started

New members must create a membership profile that is sent to the NACC for approval.  Once the membership has been approved, you will have full access to the website features and benefits.  To begin, select "NACC Membership" from the menu to the left and then "Join the NACC."

Public or Private?

An important public service the NACC offers is a free referral program.  Any non-member that runs a member search can only see member profiles that have selected "Public."  If referrals are not applicable to your work or if you prefer to be visible to NACC members only, please select "Private."  Currently, users cannot change between Public and Private themselves until they renew, but if you'd like to switch please contact membership@naccchildlaw.org
Username

You are able to use an email address as your username which can make it a little easier to remember.  If you forget your password, you can recover it with your username or email address.

Listserv

Select "NACC Listserv" from the drop down box to continue.  This will replace the NACC Listserv that has been hosted on Yahoo Groups until now.  For more information on the listserv, please click here.

Creating your Profile

Please include as much information as possible when creating your profile.  If you prefer some information to stay private, uncheck the box next to the field and it will only be visible to the NACC administrator.  If you choose to keep your email private, it will not display, but other members can still message you through the site without being able to view it.

Maintaining your Profile

The most important piece of information to keep up-to-date is your email address.  This enables you to receive all your messages from groups as well as your connections.  To change any portion of your membership profile, simply login with your username and password and click My Profile, located underneath the slideshow photos on the homepage.  Once you're on your personal profile page, click Edit My Profile on the member menu to the right.
